Supported Employment is paid competitive work that offers on going support services in integrated settings.

The CMI Supported Employment Program is designed to assist individuals with psychiatric disabilities to achieve and sustain their highest level of vocational training.  CMI Supported Employment provides: 

-                     Vocational Evaluations

-                     Job Development

-                     Job Placement

-                     Job Coaching 

The program also provides on going follow up service to the worker and to the employer to help maintain successful employment. 

The Supported Employment Program services the SPMI (Seriously & Persistent Mentally Ill) adult, at least 18 years of age. 

Initial referrals may be made by individual, program, outside agency, and VESID Counselor by calling 284-1164.

 This program is funded by the New York State Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID), the Niagara County Department of Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program through the New York State Office of Mental Health.
