There are many reasons individuals and families find themselves in need of emergency shelter:
Homelessness, fire, domestic violence, eviction, parole or release from prision, discharge from hospital, etc.

 In 2009:

We provided emergency housing for
557 people for 7,561 nights of service.

We provided 11,776 meals for our homeless residents.

Churches, Clergy, etc.
