The 2009 Feet or Famine was a huge success! There were over 300 participants and volunteers who helped raise over $15,600.00. The Mission feels so blessed that so many care so much about our neighbors in need. 

The walkers had good weather out at Whirlpool State Park in Niagara Falls. Along with those who walked were many who came to support them or just to stop by and see the classic cars, shop at the flee market, or take a chance at winning one of the over 50 baskets in the basket auction. 

There were so many who helped out, got pledges, and offered all kinds of other support, it would take many pages to thank them all. However, we can’t let the wrap-up of this walk go without  a special thank you to Norampac Industries, Inc. of Niagara Falls, “Increase the Peace” from Niagara Falls High School, and the North Tonawada High School Honor Society. They and all those who participated are what made this such a successful event.
