Mission Statement
The CMI Youth Services Recreation Department enhances the REACH Division services by providing diverse recreational, social, cultural and instructional leisure-oriented programs. These programs enrich the quality of life for youth in program by promoting the value of recreation, fitness and wellness, while creating and maintaining productive lifestyles.
In support of this Mission, the REACH Recreation Department establishes the following criterion:
· Creating programs designed to meet the diverse needs of the program community, while maintaining open recreation events;
· Providing an accessible and inclusive environment for youth to explore positive recreational experiences;
· Promoting educational and employment opportunities for youth to develop important and necessary life and career skills;
· Maintaining high quality, effectively managed activities, by well-trained personnel utilizing safe equipment and practices.
