Par Fore a Mission!
Hosted by Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course, Community Missions' annual golfing tournament returned for its thirteenth year. With approximately 70 golfers, Par Fore a Mission was a sure success. Prior to tee time, players received a complementary bag filled with Titleist golf balls, extra tees and a Community Missions shirt. Following registration, participants enjoyed a deli assortment of sandwiches, potato chips, pastries and a host of beverages.
Thankfully, throughout the course of play, ideal weather conditions permitted successful completion of the 18-hole tournament. Par Fore a Mission concluded with a hearty dinner of steak, salad, mashed potatoes, an assortment of cheese and fruits, as well as awards, fundraising giveaways and an auction. Prized items such as an autographed helmet by Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel, $50 gift cards, an arts and crafts basket, etc. were all given away to participating golfers.
All proceeds from the golfing tournament and respective raffles and auction will be utilized to sustain the ever-increasing demand in Community Missions' crisis and community services. As an organization, we thank all participants, volunteers and sponsors for their efforts in making this event so memorable.
