PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) Safety Guidelines

Community Missions cares about the safety of all those within our programs.

Community Missions has ZERO TOLERANCE for sexual abuse and sexual harassment. If you or someone you know is being pressured for sex by a staff person, another resident, or anyone at this agency, report it immediately!

You do not need to wait for an assault to happen to get help!

If a staff person or another resident is making sexual comments, gestures or actions that make you uncomfortable, report it immediately! Be aware of situations that make you uncomfortable.

Trust your instincts.  If it feels wrong, leave or call out for a staff member.

It is ALWAYS your right to say “NO”, “STOP IT”, or “DO NOT TOUCH ME”.

How to Report:

• Talk to any staff person you are comfortable with.  All staff are trained to help you.
• Slide a note under a staff person’s door.
• Fill out a PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) Incident Form outside the PREA Coordinator's Office (First Floor, Hiawatha Building, 1570 Buffalo Ave., NF)
• Send an email to prea@communitymissions.org
