Girls...Moving On
Girls...Moving On engages with girls ages 12-21 in a group setting to create positive social interactions while forming healthy relationships, expand personal and social resources that build resilience and lessen the likelihood of engaging in high-risk or criminal behavior.
The program's purpose is to help girls increase their motivation and provide them with new skills and personal resources. Each program module consists of five two-hour meetings, and girls may continue through as many of the five modules as they would like. Program modules include:
- Listening and Being Heard
- Building Healthy Relationships
- Expressing Emotions
- Making Connections
- Making Healthy Choices
Currently, program meetings are held at Falls Street Station (1622 Falls St. Niagara Falls). Referrals to the program can be made by calling 716-285-3403 x.2253. For more information, please check out the program brochure here.
