Divison: Youth Services
Program: JSCM Program
General Overview: Assumes responsibilities for the direct provision of Supported Case Management (SCM) programming ofor juvenile probationers and foster care re-entry youth. Assures proper care and treatment of youth. Communicates information to Court, Probation, Social Services, OCFS and Agency personnel. Assures required records are maintained. Utilizes supervision effectively. Maintains training and professional standards of the Agency and Division. Carries on-call cell phone.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred; minimum two years experience working with at-risk youth; Knowledge of Juvenile justice System and Family/Criminal Court process. Crisis intervention skills; Conflict resolution skills; group leadership skills; team work skills; Supervisory skills; Record-keeping skills.
Hours: Full-Time
Salary Range: $42,000 - $50,000, based on degree and experience.
