Program: Youth Homelessness DP
General Overview: Provides Peer Support and activities of social engagement for the Transitional and Rapid-Rehousing components of the YHDP program, including assistance with referrals, admission assessments and Intake. Assures required records and communications are completed and maintained. Completes life skills and daily living skills with entire caseload, assisting Case Managers with contacts and documentation of client progress. Shares On-Call responsibilities.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, Associates preferred. Must have lived experience with homelessness or other marginalized membership in society. Minimum 21 years of age, Red Cross Training (agency will provide), Infraction-clear NYS Driver's license, previous experience with Transition-age Youth (18-24), homeless youth or adults, computer skills, conflict-resolution skills, ability to work within a team, daily living skills knowledge.
Hours: Part-Time
Salary Range: $15.50 - $18.00, hourly, based on experience.
