by Christian HoffmanWHEATFIELD, N.Y. - Viatran, a worldwide leader in providing innovative pressure and level transmitters and based in Wheatfield, recently selected Community Missions as the benefactor for its Community Events program.
A growing company that will soon celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, Viatran is proud to support various community groups through the efforts of its dedicated employees. The campaign began in mid-September, and included a hot dog lunch fundraiser at its offices. The initiative has raised more than $400 in the first two weeks, with the program running through the end of 2014.
"We are always excited to work with partners like Viatran that are interested in supporting the Mission," said Christian Hoffman, Communications & Development Manager at Community Missions. "We welcome opportunities to work with corporate partners that may have existing giving programs already, or that are looking for new ideas as to how to get involved with the community."
