Program: Aurora House
General Overview: Provide comprehensive nursing services to youth, including health assessments, medication management and coordination of medical care. Educate youth, families and staff on health, wellness and medication while promoting a strength-based, restorative approach to treament. Maintain accurate medical documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support each youth's individualized care plan. Participate in treatment planning, crisis response and on-call medical support as needed.
Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse license required. Psychiatric nursing experience with adolescents is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills are essential. Valid NYS Driver's License.
Hours: Full-Time
Salary Range: $59,529+, annually
