General Overview or Main Functions: Assumes responsibility for the overall operation and supervision of the Community Residence program and staff. Maintains a safe environment for staff, youth and families. Works in close and cooperative communications with Clinical Manager to ensure integration and compliance with all aspects of the Trauma Informed Treatment Restorative Approach. Monitors the budget, Medicaid billing and recreation activities. Follows written procedures of regulatory and certifying bodies (NYS OMH, SSA, OTDA, DSS, Justice Center, OSHA, Health Department, etc.) as well as upholding guidelines, procedures and policies of Community Missions, Inc. On-Call responsibilities.
Qualifications: Masters Level Mental Health Professional preferred. Minimum four year’s experience with seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents; family counseling work, Small group leadership skills; Conflict resolution skills; Strong supervisory skills and experience leading clinical teams. Minimum 21 years of age; Red Cross Training; Infraction-clear NYS Driver’s License. Must be fully COVID-19 Vaccinated. Must complete NYSOMH Fingerprint Clearance.
Accountable To: Director of Youth Services
Salary Range: $45,000 - $59,000 annually
Hours: Full Time, some evening/weekend work may be required. On-Call Responsibilities
Grade Level: 5
Status: Exempt
